Vehicle Delivery

This mod adds a realistic ordering and delivery process to newly purchased tractors instead of having them appear at the farm immediately. The estimated delivery time, customs duty, total price, and payment breakdown are shown before the purchase is confirmed.

• Production and transport: Delivery time includes both production and transport. Basic equipment takes two days, while paid options such as different tyres or a more powerful engine add another two days.
• World regions: Manufacturers are assigned to one of six world regions: Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Africa, and Oceania. The farm's region is detected automatically on known maps and can otherwise be set manually. Transport takes longer when the distance between the origin and destination increases.
• Game calendar: Delivery periods are calculated using the in-game calendar. A standard month of 28 days is converted to the number of days per month configured in the game.
• Payment: With down payments enabled, 20 percent of the price is paid when the order is placed and the remaining 80 percent is paid on delivery. Without down payments, the full amount is charged as soon as the machine is ordered.
• Customs duty: No duty is charged for deliveries within the same region. International deliveries use the rate assigned to the route between the origin and destination. Rates can be adjusted or switched off completely.
• Delivery delays and order overview: Optional delays can add one or two days to the delivery time. The order list shows the production status, shipment status, expected arrival date, origin, destination, and outstanding balance. If there is not enough money available, the order waits until payment can be made.
• Cancellation: During production, the paid amount is fully refunded. Once the tractor is on its way, the dealer keeps part of the payment. Shortly before delivery, the paid amount is forfeited and a cancellation fee is charged. No customs duty is added to a cancelled order.
• Instantly available items: Seed pallets, BigBags, other instant items, used machines, leased vehicles, and free vehicles remain available without a waiting period or customs charges.

The delivered tractor appears with the selected tyres, colour, and licence plate. In multiplayer, orders are shared and managed together, while the server controls the settings. Work can continue with the machines already on the farm while the next tractor is being delivered.
