TBX Mechanical Failures

TBX Mechanical Failures expands vehicle maintenance in ETS2 with a detailed mechanical repair system. Trucks and trailers can now be inspected, disassembled, and reassembled even before a component fails.

• Inspection and maintenance: Open working components and inspect their internal surfaces.
• Extensive systems: 10 truck components and 42 trailer systems, depending on the body type.
• Detailed interactions: Pick up and return tools, loosen, remove, insert, and tighten individual fasteners, and disconnect service connections.
• Operating requirements: The system checks for the correct tools and conditions, such as engaging the parking brake or shutting down the engine.
• Saved progress: Unfinished work on trucks and trailers can be paused and resumed later through the tablet.

Failed components are not replaced automatically, and the system does not remove ETS2's native vehicle damage. Opened assemblies must be fully reassembled before maintenance can begin.
