Reefer Trailer Sound Add-on

This add-on adds realistic, continuous white noise from the refrigeration unit to reefer trailers. After coupling, a warning beep sounds and the cooling unit starts up. It keeps running while you drive and can be heard from inside the truck. The sound stops after the trailer is detached.

Requirements: The Sound Fixes Pack must be enabled and have higher priority in the Mod Manager. Other road or trailer tire sound mods must be disabled.

For ownable reefer trailers, a workaround in the Sound Fixes Pack can enable the sound, although it does not include the warning beep or startup effect. Previewing the existing voice navigation can restore the sound when needed.

The reefer sound is carried through the trailer tire sounds, so it may not work on roads without suitable trailer tire audio. Driving briefly onto grass or gravel will often restore the sound loop.

The volume can be adjusted with the Trailer Noise slider. A setting of 50% is recommended.
