License Plate Randomizer

The License Plate Randomizer automatically assigns every vehicle purchased in the shop a unique, realistic license plate that matches the map's country and region. The final plate is shown in both the 3D shop preview and the license plate widget, so what you see is what you buy.

• Generates unique plates using real country-specific formats
• Detects the map's country automatically and applies suitable regional plates
• Uses green agricultural plates for tractors and black plates for cars and trucks on German maps
• Regional prefixes can be adjusted in plateConfig.xml
• Plates persist across sessions and multiplayer games
• Plates can still be customized before purchase or changed later at a repair shop

The Duplicate Plate Finder (Right Ctrl + Period) scans your vehicles when a savegame is loaded and identifies identical plates. Duplicate plates can be randomized individually or all at once.

Twenty-one European countries are supported, including Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Austria, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, Luxembourg, Czechia, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, Belgium, Finland, Norway, and Ireland. The mod remains inactive on maps whose country is not recognized.

Note: This script controls the plate text, format, and regional details. The background, font, and Euro band are determined by the map maker's license plate template.
