Furrow Steer - Visual Countersteering While Plowing

Furrow Steer adds a more realistic visual representation of countersteering while plowing. When the script detects an attached plow and a furrow near the rear axle, the front wheels and steering wheel turn away from the freshly plowed area.

The terrain profile is also checked up to 3 m ahead of the vehicle so that the steering begins to straighten before the end of the furrow. Countersteering increases gradually, while the time required to straighten after leaving the furrow can be adjusted.

Important: This addon does not change the vehicle physics or actual driving path. It only affects the visual movement of the front wheels and steering wheel.

Settings

• Front wheel steering direction
• Front wheel steering angle: 5° to 25°
• Steering wheel multiplier: 1× to 50×
• Activation speed: 1 to 20 km/h
• Straightening time after leaving the furrow: 0 to 2 seconds
• Random countersteering movements and their intensity

Random countersteering adds short, smooth steering movements in different directions. Five intensity levels control their strength and speed. The main effect can be enabled or disabled in the ESC settings or with the U key, and its current status is shown in the F1 help menu.

Settings are saved to the game profile. In multiplayer, the host controls the settings, and all players should use the same version of the mod.

This initial version is intended to refine the mechanic further, so feedback is very welcome.
