Ford F350 Flatbed 6.4L powerstroke

The 6.4L Power Stroke is based on International's MaxxForce 7 engine platform. International's design moved from the dated HEUI to a common rail injection system, the heart of which is a Bosch CP4 injection pump. The engine also takes advantage of sequentially mounted twin turbochargers, which provides such benefits as reduced turbo lag and improved overall performance characteristic. Learning from problems with the 6.0L Power Stroke, the 6.4 features larger M16 head bolts and the 4 bolt-per-cylinder design is favorably positioned for superior clamping force.
